Comprehensive Background Check: Due to the fact that our customers are involved in power generation, manufacturing, transporting and storage of explosive, hazardous or toxic products, all of our employees are required to pass several thorough background checks. Pre-employment screenings include comprehensive criminal background checks at the local, state and federal level, social security traces, MVR and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) by A-Check Global.  These thorough screenings ensure that the job candidates we hire do not have a criminal history or any convictions that would put our company, employees or our customers at risk. Having peace of mind when a contractor is on your property is what we aim to deliver.

Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC): Our employees are required to obtain a TWIC card. TWIC is a common identification credential for all personnel requiring unescorted access to secure areaTWIC_logo-resized-600s of MTSA regulated facilities and vessels and all mariners holding Coast Guard-issued credentials.  Individuals who meet TWIC eligibility requirements are issued a tamper-resistant credential containing the worker’s biometric (fingerprint template) to allow for a positive link between the card and the individual.  An individual must be a U.S. citizen or fall into an eligible immigration category and has not been convicted of any of the disqualifying offenses as determined by the Transportation Security Administration.  In addition, individuals cannot be connected to terrorist activity or lack mental capacity.

Tampa Port Authority & Port Manatee: These facilities issue port access credentials under Florida law.  A fingerprint-based criminal history background check is conducted for an access credential.  These checks include vetting an employee’s information against state and federal watch-lists.

Social Security Number Trace: We verify the employment eligibility of new employees via the Department of Homeland Security’s Employment Eligibility Verification program.  This program permits employers to electronically verify the eligibility of new employees to work in the United States, through government sources.

Non-disclosure Agreement: Because we understand and appreciate the importance of our customer’s priority and the confidentiality of their manufacturing processes, we require all of our employees to sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect their process and design secrets.
